In Memoriam: Professor Evangelos Paraskevaidis (1957–2026)
An internationally respected scientist, innovator, and teacher — and a dedicated organiser of scientific congresses — Professor Paraskevaidis was also a valued colleague and a true friend to many. He gave himself wholeheartedly to medical education, to the training of healthcare professionals, and to advancing colposcopy and women's health. His legacy will endure through the knowledge he shared, the many who learned from him, and the medical community he supported throughout his career. Through Dr. Jacob Bornstein, President-Elect of the IFCPC, and on behalf of the Executive Officers, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, his colleagues, his former students, and the members of the Hellenic Society of Colposcopy. We stand with them in sympathy and solidarity during this time of profound sadness. His scientific legacy and warmth will be remembered with gratitude and cherished with affection.
